This ‘party’ was what has been keeping me busy over the last few weeks at work. It was held on the 30th December 2007 at Awana Genting.

Attendees must come as how they see themselves 5 years in the future. If you envision yourself to be a successful rockstar/doctor/author, you gotta come as one! This includes dressing the part, acting, and even speaking as though you have already achieved it (in the present tense in 2012).

And to top it off, we hired paparazzi and screaming fans to welcome them on the red carpet. We give them a million dollars each to spend (fake notes) to spend on various charity, property and stock investment and banking booths around the hall. We’ve got live reporters and camera crew moving amongst the crowd. Attendees bring fake props to showcase their achievements. There is a lot of bragging, live interviews ala David Letterman style, game show ala Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, and more. It’s quite a fun filled event really.. (if you can afford it).

All this for what? Well, to make your psyche BELIEVE what it truly means to be successful. The experience will mold your subconscious into actually thinking it has achieved those things, and through the universal ‘Law of Attraction’ (or The Secret as its most commonly known), you will begin to take the necessary steps and attract the necessary forces towards making your dreams come true. :)

*My camera is getting really wonky lately with the flash overexposure on the right side, weird bubbles, and it going out of focus sometimes. Also didn’t get to take much pics as I was very busy that night, so mixed in here are some low res ones from the ‘paparazzi’ that night.. :)

The Life Changing Party - Starbucks

Group of us at Starbucks.. Clockwise from Lower Left : Victor, Edmund, FoOie, Karan, Daniel, Bryan, Ian

Lost RM50 with Karan at the roulette tables, headed back to our rooms, chatted a bit more, went to bed at 5am.

Headed down to KL for some Pan Mee with Karan and Daniel after checking out the next morning.. And then we went home to sleep some more in preparation for New Year’s celebrations later that night.. Ahh, and hence our first corporate ‘outing’ ends on a happy and satisfied note. :)

Here’s a link to Edmund’s mini blog review on the Life Changing Party and his photos :)

Never thought I’d find these pics here.

      Brings back memories.

Was a blast working with you and the rest of the gang.

** Azhari was actually asking if you have the pics we took on your last day at office with the 3 of us.

Wow however did you find this page Jesper! How have you been doing?

Yes I think I still have those photos.. Is there an email I can send to the both of you?

Well, I’ve always been a frequent visitor to your blog. After all, we were great buddies when we were all working with Solobis. So, how could I forget you.

I was just trying my luck when I typed “life changing party” on the search box and voila, I found this page. Didn’t know you uploaded quite a few photos of the gang (rather than the participants) – which is what I really like.

Thx for staying in touch. I’m still the same. Working as copywriter. But still not as good as you in crafting magical words & catchy phrases :)
