Thanks Kajai (& Michelle) for the free tickets to watch The Invisible at KLCC on Monday night!

Drove down with William in tow, had dinner at Dome’s, met up with Jacq and Woon Wai (who didn’t want to join us for the movie). Finally found a copy of Essays In Love at Kinokuniya to buy for myself to keep. We kinda missed the first 10 minutes of the movie cause ‘Kajai the Ticket Bearer’ was late.. ahaha.

Anyway, back to the movie. I walked in with no expectations actually and surprisingly, the first 2/3rds of the movie was pretty riveting. Good use of some obscure soundtracks, the new faces were refreshing, cinematography was above decent. In fact, the movie had everything going well for it until near the end when the script and story SCREWS everything up. It didn’t make sense, it was corny, it was cliched, it made me grimace. If you ever watch it, you’ll know exactly what I mean.. This movie could otherwise have been soooo much more. It’s just such a waste..

Had to fetch Jacq back after the movie and decided to use the SMART Tunnel cause I’ve never been in it. I was gleeful all the way like a complete jakun. I did NOT expect it to be sooooOOoOoOOoOOooo long! RM2 to speed through the 2nd longest tunnel in Asia – all 4km of it was dem fun.. hehe :P

Yes, I thought the tunnel was a little surreal.. it seemed endless, insanely bright lights, no cars. It was like driving in/to another dimension altogether. The city’s intestines?

Eventually, we drove out the anus and headed on over to Grace’s Corner in Brickfields for supper with William, Kajai, Lincoln (who just joined us), Evelyn and Vivian. :)

*the ultimate pause button for the fastest talker in Malaysia.. hahaha*

It was great to see you guys again… :)
