Haha.. Bourne Ultimatum is ranked #105 on IMDB's Top 250 movies of all time at the time of posting this.. The script was great, the pacing excellent, Matt Damon was Matt Damon (and thats the best compliment I could give), action was suspenseful, cinematography and editing superb, soundtrack (MOBY ROCKS!) ties it all together (I can still hum the tune to it now).. what more was there to ask? Anyway.. Dexter? TV Series? Please man, haha.. if I had time, I'd watch Prison Break first. Still, the reviews for Stardust was nothing short of exceptional. I wasn't comparing the movie to the book. I was saying it was a damn good movie on its own. And well, B-Ultimatum's high ratings speaks for itself. But then, just as it was with Lord of The Rings, one cannot expect a literal translation of book material to film. You HAVE to condense. The important thing is preserving the message, and the characters. And I feel the Bourne series did that very well given the circumstances. As someone who has read the novels, perhaps you could elaborate how they could have improved on it? I haven’t watched Stardust, but I get what you mean.
