Hatching Hopes..
Hooboy, what a hectic Saturday that was. Spent almost the whole day at Bangsar Village to help Jacq and her sisters out for a Cempaka charity carnival to save some turtles. We had a gadget wrapping booth – I got mine wrapped for free in return for my help
.
Was doing some cutting on this kid’s phone while he and his bodyguard was busy looking over me – it’s NOT easy doing precision work with someone watching over your shoulders, and I sorta messed up a little. Imagine my horror when I was later told that the kid was Badawi’s grandson!!
Anyway, here are the 3 lovely sisters at our little corner of the carnival. 100% Natural indeed!

Andrew and Iris dropped by later in the evening and that’s when we saw Phua Chu Kang Jr!

Ash’s Birthday Partehh!
Had to run off for Ash’s birthday party at Murat’s house at around 9pm. Got to finally meet Roy’s ‘other half’
.

And then Ash opened his birthday present. He was a little drunk by the time, and the gift was ‘Humphrey the Humping Dog’. The look on his face was simply…

Morning Movie Mania
Headed over to Andrea’s house at around 2 am for a movie session. Took us awhile before we could decide what movie to watch while waiting for Roy to arrive from his extended detour – but had lots of mindless fun doing it:
(after shortlisting 4 movies to watch)
Nic : Ok, everyone take their covers, and we drop them and see which one lands first k?
Everyone : Ok, 1.. 2.. 3..
Jacq : Hey mine landed first!
Nic : Ok, ok.. that was silly.. not counted.. let’s Lat
Everyone : Lat ta li lat tam pom.. tam pom! tam pom! tam pom!
Andrea : yay!!! Clerks 2!
Nic : No no, you didn’t win, it’s supposed to be last one standing..
Anywaaayyyyy, it eventually led to this finale:

And Harsh Times won out over Bobby. Please ignore all the other cetak rompaks on the table TQ.
It was a typical tragic movie, with a fantastic performance from Christian Bale – along the same veins as ‘Training Day’. Not bad a watch at all.
Reached home and slept at 5.
