The actual sensors regarding some video cameras change in in the area of contrast, while others utilize a beam associated with infra-red (IR) light, particularly in low lighting. Higher specification cameras at times use a mixture of both models and probably have Face Priority AF where the digicam can 'See' any face as you concentrate only upon that. If I do say so myself :) Fighting tooth and nail to get to the very front, many a death stare, a few elbow jabs to the stomach, my CK shoes getting completely trashed from being trampled on, and not to mention suffering from the aftermath of a rock concert (busted hearing, sorethroat, aching bones)...ALL.TOTALLY.WORTH.IT!!!!!!!
