I’ve watched exactly 100 movies over the course of 6.5 months!
And my Top 5 Movie Picks for 2007 goes to :
1. 300
I know I know, it’s ‘brainless’, but I can’t deny that it provided me the most fun moments, unforgettable lines and memorable scenes for 2007. It was also the most satisfying movie I ever walked out from the cinema in a long while. 
2. Bridge to Terabithia
Personal award for the most heartwrenching, tearjerking, beautifully orchestrated piece of magic I’ve watched.
3. Ratatouille
The sweetest most endearing animation to ever grace the big screen!
4. Apocalypto
Best action movie for 2007. Incredibly intense, violent, brutal and ‘edge of your seat’ gripping.
5. Bourne Ultimatum
Close 2nd to Apocalypto for best action movie, this is was the best closing ‘trilogy’ film for 2007 amongst the many others (Pirates, Rush Hour, Oceans, Shrek, Resident Evil & Spiderman can’t compare). Great pacing, script, acting & directing.
Honorable Mention:
The Host
Although released in late 2006, it’s easily the most outstanding and original foreign film I watched in 2007. There’s tremendous amounts of comedy, drama, political messages & action for a mere monster-thriller. Scored 85% on Rotten Tomatoes and is the biggest earning Korean film of all time.
