It all started off with..

Karan : Hey Foo! You’re not playing your Warbook account right? Can pass me your gold ar?
FoOie : “Huh? What’s that?” - *proceeds to log into Facebook, and checks out Warbook*
Karan : Yeahlar, you have 21 million gold, can pass to me please, I need it..
FoOie : Hey, this game seems interesting! I might just wanna start too.. *starts spending all the gold*

kekeke, sorry Karan. But aren’t you happy you found a new convert?

The Executioners - Warbook

Turns out that Warbook was one of the first applications I’ve ever installed on Facebook. I apparently created a hero a few months back, but completely forgot about the game. As my kingdom generated gold every hour (not much), the stockpile gradually grew to become an amount that players wouldn’t mind having..

I’ve been playing it for over a month now (it’s quite addictive), and one of the first things I did was to seek out an alliance to join. Decided on one called The Executioners simply because it was predominantly Malaysian. And boy am I glad to have joined up because they’ve been immensely helpful!

And it wasn’t very long before the alliance (thanks to Daren) decided to hold its first ever gathering.. :D
I haven’t been to an Internet formed gathering in YEARS (ever since Gilagang days), and the idea of meeting both my gaming benefactors as well as fellow Warbookers was kinda appealing - in a geeky sort of way.

Turns out that one of the members - Princess Kiera - owns a Thai restaurant at Changkat Bukit Bintang called Baan 26. Our venue was set - and there, 13 of us gathered to plot the downfall of our enemies.. *evil laughter*..

The Executioners - Menu

Check it out mannn, our very own “Executioners Set Dinner” :D

The Executioners - Group 1

L-R : Daren Lee, Karan, FoOie, and Yeap HanZhie

The Executioners - Group 2

Clockwise from Top Left : Chong Soon Lee, Michael Lim, Steven Chong, Soo Lee, Li Lian & Harvey Law

The Executioners - Group 3

L-R : Hafiz, Yee Wing Tak & Vincent

The Executioners - All Group

Yes, only 2 roses amongst a whole lotta thorns that night (despite our alliance having its fair share of lady gamers)

Everyone was friendly, and there was a lot of banter, and we chatted and chatted and completely forgot about the time until 1130pm.

Thanks to Daren for putting this plan together, I wonder when will the next one be. Surely much larger at the rate the alliance is growing. The food was fantastic too thanks to Princess Li Lian - I’m surely coming back for the Tom Yam one of these days. And thanks to Soo Lee for being the chief photographer that night!
