So many things to update, so little time! Well, managed to meet up with some pals over the last week and here they are!

Yuin Yin!

Yeap, finally met up with this friendly perky amazing gal that I got to know through her blog. My very first ever blogging friend, and my first ever blog pal meet up (i’m definitely not her first though haha). Had dinner with her and her friends over at Absolute Thai at The Curve..

Yuin Yin - 4 Ladies

Yuin Yin - FoOie & Yuin

A pretty cool photo take off the reflection of a mirror in the restaurant :)

We then headed off over to Groove Junction in Hartamas for some drinks (and cause Faz’s band was performing there too hehe)..

Games Night at Faz’s

Big group of about 13 of us dropped by at Faz’s place for a session of Charades and Werewolves (and to also watch Aliens 4 on Astro)

Charades at Fazs

Clockwise from dude at lower left : Farouk, NicT, Omar, Shin Tzu, Daniel, Tanya, Nisha, Sukma and Laura. Not in view, Faz and Andrea.

I was completely knackered after that (and even had to leave early which was so not me) cause I had a Saturday work shift the next day..

Hong’s Farewell Gathering

Met up with Hong for the last time before he flies off to India for 6 months. Best wishes to him while he’s there!

L-R : Immi, Su Wei, Hong, Henry & FoOie (camera shy Jeff took the photo)

Gasing Hill!

I can’t believe I’ve never actually trekked in Gasing Hill before (especially having ventured onto the Kiara jungle horse tracks so many times years ago). Had to wake up really early last Sunday for the experience of hiking in what I would consider The Most Crowded Jungle Trail Ever. Lol. The things people do nowadays for fresh air, mother nature and wilderness.

Hongs Farewell

5 minutes into the trail.. “Are we there yet??” :P

Hongs Farewell

Sukie and Immi at a particularly steep downhill trail..

Hongs Farewell

Ooh, point of interest - a really narrow, long & bouncy suspension bridge. In sequence from front to back : Immi, Meetheng, Cheese (our guide), Emily, Sylvia & Terry.

Hongs Farewell

I was hungrily keeping an eye out for interesting flora or fauna - this was the only one I saw lol.

Hongs Farewell

Poor tree couldn’t support its own weight anymore and took a tumble probably due to disease.

The climb was pretty easy actually, taking not more than 1.5 hours both ways. Me, Sukie and Immi drove over to OUG for some dim sum brunch, then I dropped by Low Yat to replenish my blank DVD supplies, and off home I went for some supposed rest but…

Ash called

And out again I went.. hehe, this time with ‘long-time-no-see’ Ash to Mage Cafe to try out Zooloretto! The game itself was so engaging, I didn’t get to take any photos of our session. But we did drop by at Games Circle too for a bit, and there was this monstrosity sitting on a gaming table..

GC 40k Twin Towers

The Twin Towers - 40,000 years in the future. Now all it needs is just some Titans. :D
